About Richard Culbertson

Richard A. Culbertson is Board Certified in Social Security Disability Advocacy by the National Board of Legal Specialty Certification which is accredited by the American Bar Association. Richard A. Culbertson graduated from Western State University College of Law in 1975 and was admitted to the California Bar that same year. He spent more than twenty years serving the Legal needs of the low income residents of Southern California and Central Florida working for various legal aid and legal service offices. Mr. Culbertson has owned and run his own Law office since 1996.

Since 1975, Mr. Culbertson has handled thousands of Social Security and Supplemental Security Income cases from pre application through the Federal Courts. He has also spoken at many seminars sponsored by community organizations county and State Bar Associations, and the National Organization of Social Security Claimants Representatives. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Social Security Committee of the Orange County Bar Association.

Sarah Fay

About Sarah Fay

Originally from New Jersey, Sarah Patience Fay graduated from Monmouth University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.  In 2011, she earned her Juris Doctor degree from Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law. In law school, Ms. Fay was an editor for the Barry Law Review.   Ms. Fay began working for Culbertson Law Group, P.L.L.C. directly out of law school.   Since that time, she has successfully represented hundreds of claimants in their Social Security appeals to federal court.  Ms. Fay has also successfully briefed cases before the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. In December 2016, Ms. Fay became a Board Certified Advocate in Social Security Disability by the National Board of Trial Advocacy.  There are only currently nine board certified Social Security Disability attorneys in Florida. Ms. Fay limits her practice to exclusively representing claimants seeking Social Security Disability benefits throughout all stages of the disability process.  In her spare time, Ms. Fay enjoys spending time with her two children.

About Richard Schwartz

Attorney Richard A. Schwartz’s SS Disability law practice is located in Daytona, where he has served clients throughout Florida since 1964. Mr. Schwartz graduated from the Georgia Military Academy (Atlanta, Georgia) in 1955. He received his B.A. from the University of Denver in 1959, and his Juris Doctorate in 1964 from the University of Toledo. In November of 1964, Mr. Schwartz was admitted to the Florida bar, where he has practiced since 1965. He now focuses specifically on Social Security and SSI Disability. Mr. Schwartz is a member of the Florida Bar, Volusia County Bar Association, and National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives (NOSSCR).

Colleen Rosaler

About Colleen Rosaler

Originally from Connecticut, Colleen Rosaler graduated from University of Oregon in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Women’s Studies. Prior to law school, Ms. Rosaler clerked as an intake specialist at a high-volume Social Security Disability firm in Orlando, Florida, handling medical records requests and case management. In 2013, she earned her Juris Doctor degree from Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law. While in law school, Ms. Rosaler interned for the State of Florida Department of Children and Families, advocating for the rights of children in dependency cases. From the time she decided to become an attorney, Ms. Rosaler knew she wanted to spend her career as an advocate for the disabled. As a Social Security Attorney at Culbertson Law Group, Ms. Rosaler handles cases at the hearing level, and attends hearings on behalf of the firm’s clients.  In her spare time, Ms. Rosaler enjoys internet research and spending time with her husband David, and three children Fred, Marilyn and Ted.

Katherine Schwartz

About Katherine Schwartz

Katherine Selima Schwartz graduated from Rollins College magna cum laude with a BA in Psychology in 2009. At the top of her class, she was a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. While at Rollins College, Katherine made the President’s List during the fall of 2007, spring of 2008, and spring of 2009. Katherine attended Barry Law School where she earned her JD in 2013. While a student at Barry Law School, Katherine clerked for Circuit Judge Raul Zambrano, learning all aspects of civil law. A member of the Florida Bar since 2013, Katherine has been practicing and serving the law as a zealous advocate for others. Following her formal education and with the mentorship of her father Richard A. Schwartz, Katherine has learned all facets of social security law and is skilled at handling claims from the initial level through hearings with Administrative Law Judges. Additionally, she is a member of NOSSCR, the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives. Katherine is also an accomplished equestrian in the sport of Dressage. As a USDF gold medalist, she trains and competes at the highest level under the watchful eye of Olympian Laura Graves. When she is not in the office, Katherine enjoys spending time with her horses, fiancé, future step-daughter, traveling, cooking, and practicing yoga.
